Ultimate File Explorer

Here's another find from Darren.  It's a file explorer that lets you view the contents of your phone's memory card.  It  runs on phones without a memory card but doesn't do anything useful on them as third party apps are blocked from access the internal phone memory on iDEN phones.

Features include the ability to create, delete and rename folders, copy paste and delete files, send files by Bluetooth and create and view text files. Hide files and view hidden files. I haven't verified which of these features actually work as my i776 doesn't support memory cards.

Type: Open Source
Author: Isaac Amissah-Opong Product Page
Data Connection Required: No
iDEN Compatible: (tested on i776): Yes
Boost CDMA Compatible: (tested on Motorola Rambler): No (installs but hangs on startup screen
Supported iDEN phones:  All with memory card  (i856, i875, i885 or i9).
File Size: 64 KB

  2. Hello when i downloaded it said completed and how can i open them They only say delete files didnt say play

  3. Hello! It works fine on my i876 but unfortunately there's some folders in my memory card i cant access. In the developer's website it shows how to enable them on some models but not mine. Can you give me a hand please? Ill really apreciate it!

    • Possibly Motorola secures some folders on the memory card. If that's the case a third party app like Ultimate File Explorer isn't going to be able to circumvent the security. Put the card in a card reader on a PC and you should be able to access all folders.

  4. hey den can you put a good facebook app on here that works for the i856. i tried all of them and they dont work.

    • That's the problem, none of them work.
