A strategy puzzle game that's a little like Reversi but with simpler rules.

The object of the game is to flip all of the black pieces to white in as few moves as possible. Clicking a piece flips it's color and the color of any pieces next to it horizontally or vertically.  It's much harder than it sounds!

Best on 128 px wide screens (i290, i465, etc.) doesn't fill larger screens.

A nice implementation of the classic Battleship board game.  Place your five battleships on the lower grid then try to sink the computer opponent's hidden ships on the upper grid before he sinks yours.

Turn based strategy, puzzle game. The goal of the game is to fill as many squares as possible with blue bubbles either by cloning a bubble or by capturing the computer opponent's green bubbles which turns them into blue ones. 50 levels each requiring a different strategy to win. Sound works and all keys are mapped correctly. Designed for phones with 128 px screens (i290, i465, i776) the game doesn't fill the screen on the i856 or i9.

One or two player space themed strategy board game similar to Battleship. Adapts to all screen sizes and has a game save feature.  The game claims to be ad supported but I haven't seen any ads.

Regular ships (blue balls or purple squares) can move any number of squares in one direction (horizontally or vertically) each turn.  The Flagship (hollow blue circle) moves one square per turn.

Enemy ships are destroyed by surrounding them with two or more of your own ships. The flagship is destroyed when it's completely surrounded.

Blue wins if the Flagship reaches a warp point (green square) or all the purple ships are destroyed.  Purple wins when the Flagship is destroyed.

Call - Select ship to move, Select items in menus.

Another great find by a BoostApps reader. In this puzzle adventure game you are the Viking. Your goal is to push together gems of the same color to turn them to immovable  stone. Turn all the gems to stone and the door to the next level opens.

For the best score complete each level in as few moves as possible.

The game is ad supported but unlike most ad-supported games it seems to start quickly and I haven't seen any actual ads so far.

Keys:
Joystick or 2,4,6,8 to move.
Press and hold * for map.
# for menu.
In menu use the Call key or 5 to select.

I've had a few requests for a Tower Defense style game. Unfortunately the only ones I could find were ad supported and most of them didn't work on my i776. Here's one that does. It's Tower Wars Time Guardian by InFusio. It seems like a pretty good game with nice graphics, sound and responsive game play. I wish I could figure out how to turn off the help screens that kept popping up though.

There are a few problems with keys that are not mapped properly:
OK doesn't work, use the "Call" key as the OK button.
The right soft key doesn't work press the left soft key for the action associated with the right soft key
For the left soft key press the menu button.

It's the bees versus the ants in this strategy puzzle game with great graphics.   Ants attack the bee hive which the bees have to defend.

You can control either the bees or the ants with the computer taking the other side. Each side plays in turn.  Play by moving one of your insect troops one or two hexagons.  Moving one hexagon clones the insect creating a second one at the new position, moving two hexagons simply moves.  Any enemy insects in the cells adjacent to the one you moved to will be killed and replaced with members of your species.

It's easy to play but a hard game to master, especially at the highest of three difficulty levels.

A version of the popular iPhone game Pipes for Java ME phones. Pipes is a puzzle game that you solve by rotating the pipe pieces to connect them all. Auto game save and resume.  Before playing for the first time press the "Menu" key, choose "Resize" and use the Dpad keys to size the grid to fit your screen.
