You can send most games and apps that you find on the Web to your phone using the Universal App Loader. For help with the Loader see: Detailed Universal App Loader Help and How to use the Universal App Loader without a PC .
You also make requests in the BoostApp User Forum's iDEN Games and Apps Wanted or CDMA Games and Apps Wanted sections and a community member may be able to help you.
I will continue to post useful, non-commercial games and apps that users have installed with the loader and posted about on the Forum's iDEN Games and Apps That Work thread.

There is a cribbage game at thumbgames.mobi it is free but when i try to download it i get a404 not found error
hey dennis. can you look and see if any of the apps or games for mytinyphone.com works for your site here? all in can do is try to download them to my mms and it wont let me have it lol. some of the stuff there looks pretty cool. thanks

There is no MySpace app that works on iDEN phones. Sports and Social Networking apps are in their respective categories.

i tryed downloading from mytinyphone.com and it worked. the only trouble is. it goes to your text messages and you cant move them to ringones. and that goes for the wallpaper as well. CAN THIS BE FIXED? IS THERE A WAY TO PUT THEM WHERE THEY BELONG? HEEELLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your phone has Bluetooth, Bluetooth them to another phone and them Bluetooth them back to yours. It will work will wallpapers but not with ringtones unless they are in the right format.

Heck we can't even get Internet Radio working decently and you want an X-Ray scanner! What's it do let you see through people's clothes? Only the TSA has that and it weighs a thousand pounds.
to those of you that want free wallpapers, you CAN get them on boost, just send them to your phone, (on 'mytinyphone.com) and after its sent to your phone just blue tooth it to some one elses phone then have them blue tooth it back, and there ya go

I bought a data cable so I can download games and apps. I also know umnet has a loader too and opera mini has one also. I am confused. I saw on opera that the 5 is ready? Will we be getting that soon?
You're confusing me too.
I don't think Umnet has a loader that works with Boost phones. I've never seen it, just jad and jar links which you can download or send to your phone in an MMS, none of which works with iDEN phones. I'm 99% sure there is no iDEN compatible loader at Opera.com either.
As for Opera Mini 5, it's already on BoostApps http://boostapps.com/apps/opera-mini-5/ It really only works on the i9 and i856 although a few people say that it runs on their i465's though it takes a very long time to load.

First of all, you totally rule; from this site I've gotten the phonebook manager & IdenJal loader, downloaded a number of apps, and made my own ringtones and wallpapers.
That said... what do you think of having a place to post ringtones or wallpapers that others could download? They'd have to be copyright-free, of course... images could be public-domain or released under some version of the GPL, and music/sounds would have to be either original or have the permission of the originator (like, I doubt it would be possible to get the rights to recent top tunes...).
Or would it just be too much of a hassle?
I think I'm going to concentrate of apps, there are thousands more to try and post. For music and wallpapers there's no way to send them over the air to Boost phones, so anyone wanting to use them needs a PC. And if you have a PC it's easy enough to resize images and reformat music.
boost apps should get the card game spades ... if u dont alredy know its a game almost just like hearts . i need this for an i465

Creep, if you read the troubleshooting it will tell you that Boost & Nextel customers can not download ringtones until Boost changes their policy.

I'm... BRAND new to this site, but are there any VEX or BRICKBREAKER like games that use the joystick or arrow pad or whatever you want to call it. I have an i465 and its kind of a pain because some games you have to press the function key before you hit any of the numbers, or if im stupid and theres a way to fix that could anyone tell me?
hold the function key down for a few seconds to "lock" it.
dennis do you know if there is a way to get sprints new nascar app on the i465. i had the old one but they upgraded it.
I don't have it and couldn't post it here if I did. If you have Nextel you should be able to download it from Sprint. I don't think it's available to Boost users.
If you can find the jar and jad files somewhere you could install using iDenJAL or iDEN Content Uploader (see the Tutorials section).
do you no of any dial up radio you can get for the boost i465? or any boost for that matter? like this. 443-420-0170. its out of canada and dont work that well. since we cant get radio on the i465 0r any other boost. seems this may be the next best thing to try. if you have any number like this thats based in the usa can you please send the numbers to my e-mail? thank you.

The only way to view videos on any iDEN phone is to convert them to .3gpp format and copy them to the memory card. Streaming is not supported by the phone's firmware and the iDEN network is so slow that it would be like a slideshow if it worked at all.
I am pretty new to boost and have been searching everywhere for free apps for my i290. I dont have a pc so is there any way 2 get any mp3 songs converted into free ringtones w/o a pc? Or get more games?
Other than BoostApps, I don't know of any way to get games and apps on your i290 without a PC. For ringtones I don't know of any way at all. If I find something I'll post about it here on BoostApps.

Posting your mobile number on a public website like this is not wise. There are malicious bots that scan the web harvesting numbers to use for scams like signing you up for subscription services charged to your phone. If you insist, post it again and I'll leave it up. BTW, there are NO sites that can sen free ringtones to Boost iDEN phones.
im on the unlimeted plan with my wife,i pay over 100.00 per month i shouldnt have to pay for apps or tones or ringtones from boost.com site when i check my account,what gets me mad is after automatic reboost payment,they give me a 2.00 doller credit for each phone,but it doesnt pay for anything on their site as all is 2.99 or up,your site is great and it really makes boost look weak as far as customer appreciation for unlimeted.i feel limited with boost at this point.p.s customer service at boost sucks

There are no downloadable free ringtones fo iDEN phones. You need to use Bluetooth to put tones on your phone. See: How To: Use Any MP3 File As A Free Ringtone
Hey Dennis I kno this is the request fourm but I have a question. Do any of these apps a have a fee? The last 3 months Ive been getting charged out of no where for something and boost doesnt kno what it is either, they keep telling me its a 3rd party. I havent signed up for anything so I was just wondering if it may be one of the apps(I have almost every app from here on it). Thanks!
None of theses apps is supposed to have a fee. By law, if Boost is charging you for a 3rd party service, they have to tell you what that service is and how to contact them.
Keep calling until you get a rep who knows what they are doing. While you are at say that you didn't sign up for anything 3rd party service and ask them to credit you for the bogus charges. If they keep stonewalling tell them you are reporting this as fraud to the FCC and BBB.
Just want to say great page ,two thump up, but i got a request is there any app for gmail,yahoomail, and other email interface i tried life in pocket everything elsze work fine but the email interface its not working, I went to life in pocket webpage and program all the settings but still not working. I have i465 motorola from boost.
I wish I could find email app other than Gmail too. So far nothing works.

I wish I could send ringtones over the air to your phones for free. It's currently impossible. I would have to go through Sprint which doesn't expose an API for doing it.

If looked a t a few Java mp3 players but none work on my i776 so far. I'm pretty sure that an unsigned generic 3rd part Java app is unlikely to be anywhere near as good as a native app in firmware.
