You also make requests in the BoostApp User Forum's iDEN Games and Apps Wanted or CDMA Games and Apps Wanted sections and a community member may be able to help you.

hey dennis yeh i got a iden phone for the day and i tested mobiletribe it works great but the verison on get wud probbly fit larger screens then the i465 and more anyway one question what CDMA phone have the same size screen like the i465 r aleast close to it because on the mobiletribe site you have alot of phone to Choose from so it fits the screen
The Motorola v190 has the same screen size (128x160) as the i465.
Hey are you going to ever get the universal app loader to work with the standard openwave browser
I don't know if that's possible as that browser doesn't support copy paste or bookmarlets so unless you typed in the download urls which tend to be long it wouldn't work. For now just use Bolt. I'm looking into a way to use it in Opera Mini, but Openwave, probably never. That browser is pretty useless IMHO.

I doubt that's possible as it would require access to low level handset functions that Java apps don't have.

ok this comment is for everyone who has the boost mobile sanyo incognito CDMA phone ok so i see that most people just like me cant find much apps or games like lets say the iradio and virtual radio and much more apps like that dont work on the phone that you will love now there are alot of apps out there the the sanyo incognito is capable of downloadng but i did a little research and the last update for the sanyo incognito that makes it plays youtube videos and thats great but the update also came with something else alot more restriction to games and apps you will try to download which kinda makes me REALLY mad but anyway if u get the 909 error code when you try to download somethiing and if you even get to download it and then you start up the app or game and you get a game/terminated thats all because of the update anyway theres much more apps that we can download at getjar umnet and much more other sites hopefuly in the future boost mobile will comme to there senses and do an update so we can download more apps and games anyway thanks for reading this
Hey dennis i think i might have found the next big thing for iden phones so the app is at getjar its called mobiletribe it has acces to facebook, myspace, yahoo, and google u can check your email for yahoo and your gmail and it has much more now since i cudnt test it because i no longer have an iden phone i just want u to do it see let me know if it works on iden phones i have the sanyo incognito and the the verison on getjar only coveredd the half of the screen on my incognito but i went to the original site and got one that fills my whole screen so anyway just test that for me thankss

Don't expect everything to work. Boost (and Sprint and Virgin) phones are very fussy about the apps they will run. You can use Rumkin to fix some of the ones that don't work as Chevan suggested.
There are lots of download sites. Look here for a list: http://wapreview.com/index.php?id=200 I don't have an Incognito and have no idea which sites and games work with the Incognito. You have to do some trial and error.

Hi Dennis, I looked on getjar and found a couple of submarine warfare games. I'd be highly interested if you could port them over here please? The Uni. Downloader won't work there yet for me. One's a U boat n the other is MetalShark's 1 n 2.Hopefully work.

I don't think that's possible with an iDEN phone. But if you can find such an app you can send it to the phone with the Universal App Loader.

I don't know of any email apps that do and run on an iDEN phone. I used the "Basic HTML" version of Gmail https://mail.google.com/mail/h/ in Opera Mini 4.2 on my i776. It does HTML email.
dennis will the sanyo incognito work as a modem for my pc. i have the i465 and it works but is super slow. also would i still dial the same *99# to connect? any input on this would be most helpful thanks.
As far as I know, no one has found a way to use the Incognito as a modem

If you want to program Motorola iDEN phones look into learning Java ME. I don't think writing programs, other than maybe spreadsheet macros and programmable calculator formulas, ON the device is possible

I had no trouble installing Burning Bubbles Lab 2 with the Universal App Loader on a PC browser (GetJar doesn't work in UCWEB) Use Jump Code 1853 in the next hour to get it.

I don't think that there is a Tagged.com mobile Java app. If you ever one you can send it to your phone with the Universal App Loader.

It should work. I just sent Biorhythm and Biorhythm Calculator to my i776 from wap.gamejump.com with the Universal Loader using UCWEB. Both worked. Biorhythm Calculator seems like the nicer app. Biorthym only fills half of the tiny i776 screen. Biorhythm Calculator fits the screen and has more features.

3. If you are using UCWEB or a PC browser
I've been too busy with coding and other work to look. Have you tried finding them yourself and using the Universal App Loader to send them to the phone?

Hi Dennis. If possible can you see if there is a better telnet client. Or a Mud client as that's what I'm trying to use the current Telnet app on here for. It does work but there is no way scroll back up and see all the text if too much scrolls by.

Using Uni-App Loader got these from gamejump: Bowling, Park Or Die, Artist and The Hero: City of Doom which are playable and mostly functional, and Monster Land, which play's, but doesn't support suspending the app.

The i856 has a 176x220 screen. If you are downloading from a site that doesn't support the i856, select the Motorola v300 which has the same size screen.

If you are talking about the ones on this site, don't use the "Send To Phone" button. Instead use the phone browser to visit this site and click the JAD link. Regardless of where you download them from, I believe they end up in the the Games and Apps folder under the "My Stuff" folder on the Incognito.

Yes, although if the same person has multiple requests pending I only post the first one that works and move the rest to the end of the list.
You just have to keep requesting different apps. Typically only about a third those I try work. You can't trust that a site says an app works on your phone. None of the download sites actually test the apps, they basically just guess. It's not about you, a lot of the apps other people request don't work and many of the ones you have requested do work and have been posted. Better luck next time.

Hello, I tried to upload Opposite Lock from NUMFUM LTD. to my Motorola i856. It seems to work but as soon as I go through the menu to start my game I get: "The game has encountered an error and will need to be restarted. ClassCastException:" When I restart the app the same thing happens. Any help will be greatly appreciated. The files can be found at:

That error means that the game is trying to use a Java feature that the phone doesn't support. There is nothing you can do t fix it.
I've looked several times but have been unable to fine a free mobile Java Spades game. If you find one let me know.
