Note: You can now use Opera mini with the Universal App Loader. Click here for instructions. Using Opera Mini is easier and more reliable than using UUCWEB. Plus it should work with all phones, including ones that can't run UCWEB. But you can still use UCWEB as described below if you prefer.
Download and install the UC Browser (UCWEB). For Boost iDEN phones (Motorloa i465, etc.) the UC WEB 6,7 Low Memory version is recommended. Other phones including Bppst CDMA (Incognito, Seek, etc) can use the latest version of UC Browser .
- Launch UCWEB (get it here) and load Boostapps.com. Click the mobile site link (not strictly necessary, but it's a lot faster.)
- Open the Universal App Loader page.
- Press the left softkey labeled "Menu", choose "Window", then "New Window"
- Load wap.gamejump.com or other download site.
- Click "Select Phone" and find you handset. If it's not listed use the Motorola "i455", i850, "v190" or "v300".
- Find a game you want. Highlight the "Download" link. In the UCWEB menu select "Tools" then "Copy", then "Select Link" (first image, below).
- Press the "3" key to switch back to BoostApps
- Click the text box, then click the phone's Menu key and choose "Paste". UC WEB will display it's clipboard (second image), highlight the topmost item and press the left softkey (labeled "OK") twice.
- Click the "Upload" File button on BoostApps (third image). If you get a blank page here (bug) it means the Loader couldn't find a jad or jar file at the URL you entered.
If you are using a Boost iDEN or Nextel Motorola 'i' series phone with Push To Talk (i465, i856, etc.):
- On the next screen (fourth image), which displays in desktop mode (a bug), scroll down and press the "Send to Phone" button.
- On the next screen enter your phone number and again click the "Send to Phone" button.
- The rest is the same as downloading any other app from BoostApps, There are instructions on the page that loads (last image) after you hit the "Send to Phone" button. To summarize; launch "Download Apps" on your phone. Click "New Purchases" the click the app name (the Universal Downloader gives apps 1 to 4 digit file names so they should be at the top of the list). Choose "Get" and the app will download, close Download Apps and the phone will install the new app.
If you are using a different phone (Boost or Sprint CDMA, AT&T, T-Mobile or any GSM phone).
- On the next screen click the JAD link and the app should install. If the JAD link doesn't work try the JAR link.

The Universal App Loader should work with most mobile game sites that have direct download links. It's been tested on the following sites:
- GetJar: m.getjar.com Use the special method explained here.
- Hovr: hovr.com/wap/ Choose a phone before trying to do anything on this site.
- Mobilerated: mobilerated.com/wap/
- Phoload: m.phoload.com
- Ownskin: m.ownskin.com/ Browse through the games section to find your games. Don't use the "OS Key"quick download form as it doesn't work.
- Mobango: wap.mobango.com/ You need to register and add a phone to your profile before you can download. Don't choose an iDen phone or it will tell you that no games are are available. Pick a Motorola v188, v190, v300 or v3xx instead.
Known issues:
- Sites that require a login or use a countdown timer like MegaUpload probably won' work.
- Typically fewer than one in three apps that you send to your phone will work well or at all. There's nothing that can be done about that. It's the nature of mobile Java apps that they do not all work on all phones. Blame Sun and the mobile operators and handset makers for creating a system with so many compatibilities. Finding stuff that works is a trial an error process. If you get an error installing or the app crashes, delete it from your phone and move on.
Can i watch more than just youtube on this innuendo?
Not with the Universal App Loader.
Go to http://wapreview.mobi/dir/?id=2618 with the phone browser. It's a list of links to 38 mobile video sites some of which may work with the Innuendo.
i have the i1 for boost mobile and want to put games on it but it wont let me how do i do this
The loader and the apps on BoostApps.com do not work on the i1. Use the Android Market on the phone to get games and apps.
Cant get anything on mirro phone at all is there any other way to download?
Don't bother with the Loader it's mainly for the iDEN phones. The Mirro can download apps and games using the phone browser from sites like e http://wap.hovr.com http://m.getjar.com/ http://www.mobilerated.com/wap/ and http://boostapps.com Just go to thoese URLS in with the phone's browser and click the download links (JAD link on BoostApps).
I`m curious how this will effect my sanyo incognito?
The Universal App Loader will work on the Incognito. See the section of the post starting with "If you are using a different phone (Boost or Sprint CDMA, AT&T, T-Mobile or any GSM phone)" for instructions.
In most cases the Loader isn't needed for Boost CDMA phones like the Incognito which can download apps directly using the built-in browser. But if you are having trouble with a particular app using the Incognito browser, try using the Loader, it can help in some cases.
how did you get that nimbuzz? i wanna delete mine n i try uploading it myself so i wud kno how. if you can you can tell me how to do it with the mobile loader
It wasn't easy
I wasn't able to use Opera Mini to download it. Neither bookmarklet seems to work.
What I ended up doing was
Using Firefox on my PC with the User Agent Switcher Add-on installed.
Setting the User Agent to the i776 one: MOT-A-8E/00.02 UP.Browser/7.0.2.2.c.1.110 (GUI) MMP/2.0 UP.Link/5.1.2.17
Going to http://get.nimbuzz.com, Clicking "Get it Now", choosing Motorola and i730 (i776 isn't listed) from the drop downs.
Click "Start download"
Clicking "Direct .jar file download"
Canceling the download when Firefox asks what to do with it
Copying the target of the "Download not working?" link ( http://distribution.nimbuzz.com/mobile/nimbuzz/g_1154/v190/en/Nimbuzz.jar ) to the Univ Loader.
will the universal app uploader work with mobiles24?
Short answer, no. The problem is that the site requires you to be logged in. When you login a cookie is stored in your browser by mobiles24. The mobiles24 download logic checks to see if you are logged in and if you aren't it sends a page saying you must be logged in instead of the jad or jar.
When you use the loader the request is coming to mobiles24 from the BoostApps server, not from your browser, so mobiles24 can't see your login cookie. There's no way I can fix that without resorting to cross site request forging, a very sketchy hacking technique - and that's not going to happen.
i am registered on mobango. my previous phone that i chose was a i856 it said there where no games. so i went to one of your steps. i chose the v300 same screen size as the debut. it still said no games. think you got a solution?
wuts a good browser for my samsung rant i liked opera on my i465 but i cant find one to work on my rant they sometimes wrk then mess up
I don't have a Rant so I can't say which Browser is best. Plus it's highly subjective. Just load up Opera Mini 3.1, 4.2 and 5.1, Bolt and UC and see which one works the best for YOU.
when we have to select are phone on a site do you recommend we choose are phone when it is on the site instead of choosing a different one but with the same screen size? for example on mobilerated my phone (i856) is listed but i cant get the games that i want unless i choose the v300 (same screen same as my phone) so do you think i should choose mine or the v300?
I've noticed that myself. Sometimes you have to download versions for various phones to find one that works.
iDEN phones have unique key mappings for OK, soft keys and menus so choosing an iDEN phone *MIGHT* get you keys that work properly.
When specifying an alternate phone, Motorola V series (v190, v300, v3) seem to work the best followed by Sony Ericsson or Samsung models. Nokia specific versions rarely work on iDEN in my experience.
the last 4 games i uploaded to my phone have not been able to work. i got them from mobilerated and i used the universal mobile app uploader. they all install but when i try to play the games loading bar never loads the game.
Yeah I know what you mean. Lots of games just don't work on iDEN phones. There's nothing I can do to fix that unfortunately.
o okay
... now my question is,is there ANY way i can dl the dl app that was accidently deleted on an i776 without a pc or cables?
If you deleted the "Download Apps" to only way to replace it is with a PC and cable. There's no other way that I know of.
If you don't have a PC you could send the phone to Motorola if it's under warranty or take it to a phone shop that does repairs.
thanks for this first of all, i have an i865 and a good site for free non ad games is umnet.i use ópera mini to look for the codes and ucweb to dl.some games that dont work with a code i find will work with another code...
