Nescube is an emulator for old Nintendo Entertainment System games. It comes with one game, "Ninja Garden 3 - The Ancient Ship of Doom". There is an option to load additional games from the phone's memory card which I have not tested as my phone is an i776 which doesn't have a memory card. Nescube accepts standard game cartridge ROMs saved as .nes files which are easy to find on the Internet.
Nescube runs on the i776 but is much too slow to be any fun. It should be much better on the i9 and i856 which have twice the RAM and a processor that is much faster than any of the older and cheaper iDEN phones. If you have an i9 or i856 and like games, give Nescube a try and let us all know how it works

The roms have to be in .nes format. Get roms from emuparadise.org
i've been trying to open roms i downloaded using bolt on my i 856, but when i try to open the roms, i get the error message 'i: invalid code length huffman code 15' what could be the problem.
Hello People i was busy to install nescube on my se vivaz and there is no sound . i tried many versions of nescube . can somebody help me what the problem can be !!

The sound doesn't work on iDEN phones in lots of games. That's just the way it is.

my motorola i9 plays it great but i dont get any sound.... why?
my i856 doesn't play sound either. i also cant figure out how to map the directional keys. hard to play using 2, 4, 6, 8, with the tight key pad this phone has....

I downloaded this on my sanyo incognito & it starts to load & then a message pops up saying game/application terminated. downloaded it 3 times just in case there was something wrong during the download process but got the same results all 3 times...

if ur talking bout downloading the roms using bolt then it looks like ur stuck with using bluetooth and pc... For now untill i find a way... There is always a way... Please tell me the model of ur phone ne i will see xhat i can do
well paco there are two ways for some phones... Such as the i9... U can either use a data cable or the way i did it which i told ppl how to do in a older comment below
yo wha version of nescube is this? i found nescube 3.0 on mobiles24 if this one aint it..
It's version 2.2. Ill take a look at 3.0
This is version 2.2 and a newer version, 2.3, is the one that should be posted here by Dennis. When it comes to version 3.0, it is ONLY a DEMO version which doesn't play any roms bigger than 192kb. The reason for this is because they havn't finished it yet
The only reason I mention V2.3 is cuz it works a little smoother, even on my i465. And V3.0 also failed to install due to a VM class loading error.

You must use the "Send To Phone" button to download. If you are doing that and it still doesn't work, you need to tell us what happens when you try to download including any error messages
do u mean rom games? Or any game?

sorry just delete the usa part after u load the link on ur phone then after the page loads click on the link for usa roms... Then after that ads will pop up... Just close them
u can make this run faster on older phones with less qam nd less powerful processor all u have to do is open nescube goto settings then engine and set the frame skip higher or while in settings click the profile button at the bottom right of the screen... Everx profile is diff one is for speed while another profile could be for good graphic quality or sound
ok just download the newest bolt browser get on it and goto any rom site such as http://rom-gods.com or http://brothersoft.com/games/ and search nes roms and when u get to the download page click the download button and nd choose save to and choose storage folder and click the save in this folder option and then open the nescube and open game choose the game u downloaded and if u downloaded it from brothersoft when u open the .zip file choose the rom folder and it should be in there
