It is a large file, probably too large for such a basic phone. Try the older versions on this page: http://boostapps.com/tag/nimbuzz/ especially Nimbuzz Lite.

Excellent client! I have it running on my Clutch i465 and it works perfectly with my Skype account (for messages that is). I had 3 conversations going at once and it didn't miss a beat. I even had several text messages come in as well, and when I unsuspended the app all the missed messages in Skype were right there, no wating required! 4/5 stars (minus one star because of key mappings.)

I just upgraded to Nimbuzz 1.7.2 (revision 3796) for my Motorola i465g and it runs great. Not much has changed from 1.6, but I notice the app loads and logs in a little faster.
