This the latest release of Mig33, a multi-network (AIM Y!IM, MSN, GTalk, Facebook) IM client. Lots of other features; online games, chat rooms and cheap international calls and SMS. It works pretty well, the keys are mapped correctly, unlike Nimbzz and eBuddy, but the bottom line of some screens and menus is cut off on my i776.

I think, the problem started from last week.
It may be because facebook introduced a new security settings Under Account--> Account Settings
Here You will find a question under "Account Security" option:
---Would you like to receive notifications for logins from new devices? Yes/No.
Anyway, I tried with 3 best mobile chat apps. Mig33 v4.2, ebuddy v1.5 & nimbuzz v1.7
Result is:
ebuddy - cant even log in.
Mig33 - can log in but disconnects immediately
Nimbuzz - OK
BTW, y! msngr, google chat, twitter, Win msngr - all found OK in the apps though.
So U can use Nimbuzz until they fix it or a new version comes out.

Hey guys, does this app let you know when you have an IM OR message?
I can't send this app to my phone. I keep getting an error saying I entered my # wrong. Every other app I have sent from this excellent website has worked perfectly.
It should work. Enter your ten digit number without dashes, dots or spaces like:
1234567890 not 123-245-7890.
tried again from home and it worked. sent a couple other apps with opera mini though earlier and it worked but this one wouldn't. weird.

Ok Mig33 claims on their website that this does facebook chat. However, every time I try to log in, it only lets me stay logged on for about 2 seconds. Then a screen pops up that says, "You are no longer connected to Facebook channel 0.1100.0000....or whatever those number are. IS THERE A MAGIC SPELL THAT I NEED TO KNOW TO MAKE THIS STAY LOGGED ON????? I went to the Mig33 website help page....but it was not helpful. Anybody got any ideas? I'm all ears. I got the i465.
best working messenger app, all keys work correctly, the only thing is that you can't close tabs unless you exit the app and restart it
I could not get the security code to enter on my i465
On the 465 you have to hold down the Fn key to go into phonepad mode and then triple tap 1-9 like a phone keyppad
how do I enter letters for security code, won't let me just toggles between numbers and alt mode when I tap the fn button trying to enter security code
After you click "Edit" press the Menu key (above the Call key) to bring up a menu with word and alpha options.
App installed perfectly on my i465, but unfortunately the bottom part of the screen is covered by the toolbar, so unable to see last row of text in IM until pushed up by another. Connected to GTalk and Yahoo Messenger quickly and flawlessly, making it even more frustrating
A version or fix for 128x160 screens is much needed!
I loaded it onto i465 selected login auto for messenger, now I cannot find it anywhere to be able to im? where do I find my yahoo messenger on this thing? It says I'm logged in but doesn't show me how to get there from the menu?
It's been a while but I think you select a contact and then choose message or IM or something like that.

It installs beautifully. But I cannot figure out how to utilize facebook chat through it
